I've started writing some Python scripts for working with Gnucash. So far I have find_todo.py which is used to load upcoming transactions into a CalDAV calendar such has DAViCal.

Git

The source code is in a git repository which you can browse. To grab a clone you can do: 
git clone http://git.etc.gen.nz/gnucash-tools.git
